Our gîte "Les Combres" is a haven of peace in Malbosc, isolated in the middle of nature with a breathtaking view. For 6 people, next to your hosts' house, the gîte offers beautiful private living spaces, both inside and outside. This old silkworm farm is built into the rock in an exceptional natural setting. The gîte is very comfortable with large living rooms and generous bedrooms. Fully equipped, you will not lack anything. The heated swimming pool with its exceptional view will not leave you indifferent. Paradise awaits you, come and listen to the silence!

Nature and environment
The gîte is located in Malbosc (07140) in the southern Ardèche, on the borders of the Gard and Lozère. Located in the heart of the Cevennes National Park and the Monts d'Ardèche Regional Nature Park, "Les Combres" is a preserved paradise, isolated in the middle of nature and offering a breathtaking view of the Mont Ventoux and the forest. This fully equipped gîte for 6 people, a temporary refuge to recharge your batteries during your next holiday, is above all, before us and you, a permanent refuge for a large number of animal species and plant species! Our gîte "Les Combres" is isolated on a 24 hectare plot of land consisting of a large terraced area -or faïsses- below and above the gîte in a forest of pines, oaks, chestnut trees, arbutus trees... You will be amazed by the variety of landscapes and natural curiosities (Chauvet cave, La Cocalière). Ideal to recharge your batteries far from the human bustle.
Numerous charming or historical villages and towns in the area: Aujac, Bonnevaux, Les Vans, Banne, Sénéchas, Vallon Pont d'Arc, Balazuc, Joyeuses, Antraigues, Génolhac, Saint-Ambroix, Gagnières, Lussan, Anduze, Courry, Alès, Uzès, Nîmes...
Nature and sports activities (hiking, mountain biking, canyoning, tree climbing, paragliding, bungee jumping, etc.), cultural and heritage activities (clèdes, silk museum, mine museum, etc.) nearby.

The numerous markets, day or night; traditional, producers, craftsmen and local artists will seduce you.

The good restaurants will delight your palate with their excellent regional products.
In July and August in Malbosc, don't miss the Sunday morning market and the concerts; before having an aperitif and/or lunch at the "Bistrot de Malbosc"!

The deposit covers the cost of any damage or deterioration caused during the stay.

Extracts from the rules:
Maximum capacity: 6 people (adults 18+ and children); possibility to add 2 more babies upon prior agreement.
Minimum age of the main author: 18 years.
Smoking and vaping are not permitted in this gite.
Parties and events are not permitted. A written request for exemption can be made, subject to acceptance.
Occasional guests are welcome upon prior request and accommodation for guests is not permitted.
Waste separation is compulsory in this nature house.
Fires are strictly forbidden, except for BBQs in specially adapted equipment provided.
As a precautionary measure, BBQ's may be prohibited in case of imperative fire prevention and fire fighting conditions from the local authorities and/or the landlord.
Fireworks are strictly forbidden.

Cancellation policy
- If the hirer cancels at least 2 months before the planned date of arrival, the hirer will receive a full refund.
- If the hirer cancels between 2 and 1 month before the planned date of arrival, the lessor will refund 50% of the paid amount.
- If the cancellation is made 1 month or less before the scheduled arrival date, the lessor will retain the full amount paid.
- For a reservation made 1 month or less before the planned arrival date, the refund will be total for any cancellation within 48 hours of the reservation.
After this period, the paid amounts remain due.
